While not a Super Bowl Commercial, our video team at Chemistry is celebrating a winning season due to our relationship with Logan University.  Over the last year, our video production team has worked closely with Emily Ratliff, Director of Events at Logan University in producing their virtual events. We believe our unique approach to Logan’s virtual graduations, awards and white coat ceremonies has made our relationship with the university successful. We blended technical skill and creativity which resulted in the highest quality results for the University. And, their students which, due to COVID, couldn’t partake in the in-person festivities.

There are three main elements that contributed to the success of the Logan video projects.  The following elements are key to the success of every project we engage in:  

The Relationship.

When Emily Ratliff learned that the 2020 graduation ceremonies needed to go virtual, she reached out to several video production companies. We responded immediately and set up an extensive discovery meeting. It is important to our team to learn about the people we are working with. Understanding Emily’s working style and personalities was key to developing a great working relationship. Finally, learning the goals of the project helped us develop a strategic plan and cement expectations from both sides of the relationship.

The Formula.

For the Logan University projects, we used multiple cameras from multiple angles at multiple locations to capture the truest essence of each event. Graduation ceremonies for Logan are a very big deal. Creating the classical and professional ‘feel’ of the event required the highest quality production work and the most experienced team to pull it off. No detail was too small, from lighting and positioning to drone footage and B-roll. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, training in teleprompter use and voiceover services for name reading were all carefully planned for a polished professional product appreciated by staff, faculty and students of Logan University.
