Increasingly, media outlets don’t have the resources to send reporters and videographers to cover high-profile events, even within their own markets and certainly not 45 minutes to an hour away. Chemistry PR & Multimedia to the rescue! When our video teams conduct the interviews and shoot B-roll, 95% of the media markets use our video to create news segments and feature stories. Then we can repackage, repost and repurpose that valuable third-party coverage in countless ways for our clients.
In fact, providing B-Roll to the media catapulted Chemistry PR & Multimedia into video production in 2014. Even now, video capabilities remain a rare specialty among public relations agencies. You may find skilled public relations agencies, and you may find talented videographers, but you rarely find them under one roof. Our skills and experience (and our always-expanding collection of cutting-edge equipment) can position you with media as THE go-to source for quality, even “ungettable” footage.

We help our clients and local media craft visual stories that get picked up and shared with network affiliates then broadcast regionally and nationally – a HUGE win for all concerned!
Media outlets face tight deadlines, limited budgets and shrinking staff. Not a problem! Chemistry can provide more-strategic, higher-quality video than those outlets can collect themselves. A typical news team gets in, shoots and gets out in less than 20 minutes. We take our time. We plan our shots. We go in ahead of time, unhurried … unharried.
We have an impressive collection of equipment that can capture slider rail shots, drone shots, angles and interviews that no media outlet could hope to catch and edit in time for broadcast.
We make broadcasters look good, and, in turn, they make our clients look good, with crisp, quality, well-thought-out segments crafted in large part by us.
When our video team provides higher quality b-roll and better-quality shots than media’s own videographers, they use our footage 95% of the time.
How much positive impact can B-Roll have?
THE CLIENT: The Gary Sinise Foundation.
THE STORY: Let’s take 29 Gold Star Families to New York for the Macy’s Day Parade and dinner above Times Square at the Marriott Marquis.
OUR GOAL: To get extensive coverage of our effort, understanding media already had hundreds of other Macy’s Day Parade stories to cover.
OUR APPROACH: We took our own film crew and captured incredible, heart-warming footage of the Gold Star Families enjoying a day filled with hope, love and excitement.
Our team pitched media for “Thanksgiving Dinner above Times Square with Gold Star Families hosted by the Gary Sinise Foundation.” We provided B-Roll from the day’s activities.
GREAT CHEMISTRY: Our B-Roll footage provided the heart and human interest of the story. One typical story from CBS 2 among many.
